The Yoruba Undergraduate Flagship Program is designed as a four-year program that offers students from all majors an opportunity to achieve professional level Yoruba language proficiency. We offer a 5th year option as dictated by individual student's circumstances.
Our Yoruba students can double major and their programs are designed alongside their various fields of interest. They are allowed to major in subjects such as International Studies, Political Science, History, among others, while learning Yoruba to the Superior level. When they go abroad, students will be given the opportunity to learn about their core subjects in Yoruba Language. Yoruba language is a critical part of students' education because they learn it in the context of their other academic interests.
University of Wisconsin - Madison is the Center for our undergraduate Yoruba Flagship Program.
